Here’s What’s Going to Happen…
One of the most powerful manifestation techniques I learned a few years ago is based on one of the basic principles in Andean Shamanism: “reality is a story.” Your life will have a specific tone—adventurous, dramatic, boring, funny, crazy, etc. It greatly depends on how you tell your “story,” and it’s not limited to the past and present but also extends towards the future. Let’s try it now! Here’s what’s going to happen: as soon as you finish reading this article, you’ll open another email or look into one of the many social media apps. You will do this for about 10 more minutes, more or less, then you’ll remember something that requires your attention. You will do that and forget all about this article. Three to five hours will pass as you go about your daily activities, and suddenly you’ll remember reading this and notice how wonderful you feel. You’ll realize that this exercise must have worked because everyone around you has been nice, you’ve received some exciting news, and physically, you feel healthy and energetic.
This technique works incredibly well, especially if you say it out loud. It works best when you tell a story based on random positive situations that can happen. If you are aiming for bigger things to manifest in your life, it’s best to break down the “story.” You can also tell a few very long stories. You want to add small random events here and there in your stories before the main manifestation happens. This process aligns your conscious and subconscious.
One last piece of advice: don’t get stuck on the “story.” In Shamanic Tradition, we are very clear on understanding that everything believed and told is just a story or at least a version of the story. “Truth” to us is a living energy that can shift and adapt depending on the type of consciousness experiencing it. Think of history, for example; we rarely get all sides of what happened, yet it can create pride, patriotism, resentments, etc. Choose to live a life filled with beautiful, loving stories—they will create a beautiful and loving life.
