Understanding the Impact of Long-Term Conflicts
Many of us carry unresolved conflicts from the past—whether they stem from family disputes, childhood experiences, or personal betrayals. These past wounds don’t just fade away; they linger in our subconscious and influence our present relationships, emotions, and decisions. Often, we find ourselves in similar conflicts repeatedly, not realizing that the root cause is an unresolved trauma from years ago.
The Subconscious Mind and Time Perception
One of the reasons past conflicts continue to affect us is that the subconscious mind doesn’t recognize time the same way the conscious mind does. A painful event from 20 years ago can still trigger the same emotional response today as if it were happening in real time. This is why some people struggle to move on from traumatic experiences—they are, unknowingly, reliving them every time they think about them.
The Role of Belief Systems in Conflict
Our belief systems dictate our emotions. Conflicts often arise because of differences in beliefs, rather than actual emotional disputes. Whether it’s political disagreements, cultural differences, or personal perspectives, our ingrained thought patterns create the emotional responses that drive our behavior.
For example, two people with opposing belief systems will naturally experience emotional tension when discussing certain topics. But at the core, it’s not the emotions causing the conflict—it’s the deep-rooted beliefs behind them.
Shamanic Healing: The Three Key Tools
Shamans have long understood the energetic nature of emotions and belief systems. To heal past conflicts and break free from cycles of pain, we use three fundamental tools:
1. Forgiveness
Forgiveness is often misunderstood as excusing someone’s actions. In reality, forgiveness is about freeing yourself from the burden of resentment. When we forgive, we detach from the toxic energy of the past, allowing us to move forward without carrying old wounds.
2. Gratitude
Gratitude shifts our perspective from victimhood to empowerment. By acknowledging the lessons in painful experiences, we begin to see them as opportunities for growth rather than sources of suffering. Every challenge carries wisdom, and gratitude helps us embrace that wisdom.
3. Exploration
Once we heal a conflict, we don’t just stop—we explore new possibilities. Life is a journey of continuous evolution, and stepping outside of our comfort zones allows us to discover deeper aspects of ourselves. Shamanism teaches that growth is an ongoing process, and when we resolve one conflict, we naturally move on to another level of learning.
The Energy We Emanate
Everything we think and feel generates an energetic frequency. Our thoughts and emotions radiate outward, affecting the people and situations around us. If we carry unresolved pain, we unknowingly project that energy, attracting similar experiences into our lives.
For example, if you experienced betrayal in a family business and never resolved the emotional trauma, you might find yourself reacting negatively to a colleague with similar mannerisms as the person who betrayed you. This is because the past trauma is still active in your subconscious, influencing your reactions in the present.
Breaking Trauma Cycles
Many people find themselves stuck in repeated patterns—toxic relationships, financial struggles, or professional setbacks—without realizing they are trapped in an unresolved cycle. Shamans recognize that until a conflict is consciously healed, it will continue to reappear in different forms.
By working with a shaman, individuals can identify the root cause of their patterns, bring awareness to past experiences, and finally break free from these cycles. This process is not about blaming or reliving trauma—it’s about understanding, healing, and transforming.
The Path to Healing
Healing past conflicts requires self-awareness, intention, and commitment. By understanding how our past experiences shape our present, we can take control of our emotions and break free from limiting beliefs. The journey may not always be easy, but it is always worth it.
If you’re ready to heal and grow, I invite you to explore these principles in your own life.
Wishing you peace, clarity, and transformation. Blessings!
