I’d like to invite you to consider reality from a different perspective: imagine your life as an orbital system.
Everything you are, everything you experience, and everything you have become exists within a particular orbit. This orbit has its own gravitational field, holding your circumstances, beliefs, habits, and experiences within an almost imperceptible boundary. This may help explain why making significant changes in our lives can feel so difficult. We remain drawn toward what is familiar, even when we consciously desire something different.
Now, imagine breaking free from that gravitational pull and moving toward an entirely new orbit, one filled with greater possibilities, personal growth, and extraordinary changes.
From a shamanic perspective, such a transformation is entirely possible. However, it is important to understand that the transition may involve a period of uncertainty, instability, or even apparent chaos. This occurs because you are moving between two different realities, leaving the gravitational influence of one orbit while gradually entering another.
In fact, you have already experienced this phenomenon, perhaps several times throughout your life. It often accompanies major milestones such as graduation, marriage, divorce, a career change, or relocation. Sometimes, the shift is triggered by more profound circumstances, such as a serious illness, an accident, or a natural disaster.
What all these experiences have in common is their ability to disrupt your existing orbit and redirect your life toward a new center of influence.
The question, then, is whether such a transformation must happen unexpectedly or whether we can consciously participate in directing it.
Within the shamanic tradition, there are practices designed to facilitate these transitions with greater awareness, intention, and guidance. A skilled Shaman can serve as an influence factor, helping you loosen the gravitational pull of an unwanted reality and navigate toward an orbit more closely aligned with the life you wish to create.
The possibility of a new reality begins when you recognize that your present orbit does not have to be your permanent one.
