If you stay overnight in Aguas Calientes, the little town below the Machu Picchu Citadel, and take the first busses to it at 5am, you get to witness the Magical Mountain’s daily ritual of unveiling herself to the world.
When you first arrive and hike to the upper section of the site, you are literally walking at an altitude above the clouds that surround Machu Picchu. Regardless of the scientific explanation for the clouds, I am certain when the site was chosen, this phenomenon was one of the many synergistic reasons for its location.
For a mystic, like myself, this unveiling emphasizes the nature of the world we live in. It is a reminder that the only constant in our universe is change; and that the glory and beauty of the hidden truth is available to all that are willing to put the effort and time after it.

One of my teachers once told me that truth and wisdom is like a refined beautiful lady unveiling herself; unless the senses perceiving her are of the same refinement (vibration), most of her beauty will be lost to the beholder.
