Have you ever had a relationship with a narcissist? How can these people continue being so self-centered and destructive for so long without Karma stopping them? First let me share that we are addressing energy and so all this information applies for what is perceived as positive or negative energy.
What is known as Karma, or the “Law of Cause and Effect”, meaning all the energy you put out will reflect in experiences to you at some point, has a “time lapse”. The timing will depend on various factors. Aspects like other souls needing a lesson, or one’s personal blueprint will influence this timing. The speed at which this energy will return is mostly based on three components:
- Focus, How much of this behavior comprises your attention
- Intent, A specific goal is chased as the behavior in question is repeated
- Awareness, There are ignored secondary events building up
If someone has a tendency to verbally abuse another, Karma will diffuse the situation faster if the aggressor’s focus and intent is not destructive and he/she is not aware of the pain being caused. In an opposite situation, where the aggressor is fully aware and determined to create pain. Karma will allow the aggressor to exercise his/her free will and will keep perfect score until the conditions are right for the lesson to manifest. People with greater capacity to harm will have greater lessons which will take longer to manifest. Finding yourself next to a destructive person then, means you should immediately exercise your free will and distance yourself from this toxicity. There are no victims, but there are co-creators. Staying in an abusive situation hoping for Karma to kick in would actually make you a co-conspirator of the aggressor’s descent. It would create Karma for you as well. Lastly, Karma tends to be internal and private. It is not meant for others to witness, enjoy or speculate on how one person is dealing with his/her Karmic Debts.
