The Seventh Energy

There are moments during energy (mesa) work when the arrangement no longer feels directed by the hands. The field begins organizing itself.

Recently, while working with the outer stone pattern of my shamanic mat, mesa, I noticed something I had not consciously designed. The outer stones had formed the nearest approximation to a seven-pointed celestial structure, the ancient pattern associated with the seven wandering heavenly intelligences known to the old world: Luna, Mercury, Venus, Sol, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn.

In modern language, some would debate classifications. Ancient practitioners did not concern themselves with categories in the scientific sense. They observed movement, influence, rhythm, and psychological effect. The heavens were understood as living expressions of ordered intelligence.

During meditation, the central stone moved toward the current associated with Saturn.

Saturn is often misunderstood.

Many view Saturn as limitation or heaviness, yet those who work deeply with this current eventually discover something else beneath its density: refinement. Endurance. Architecture. Time. Saturn does not rush revelation. It measures whether the structure beneath a person’s ambitions can sustain weight for their dreams.

The communication that emerged was measured, calm, and exacting.

A question appeared internally:

“What structure are you building through your vision that can survive your own transformation?”

The answer required three commitments. This is very standard in Andean Shamanism, we tend to work with the number three often.

The first involved repetition through matter itself. Not one gate, but multiple thresholds of equal weight. A disciplined rhythm. Earth converted into proof through consistency rather than spectacle. This meant ten actions that each would yield 5 positive results.

The second revealed itself not as conquest, but circulation. A living exchange. Inhale and exhale. Arrival and departure. An ecosystem rather than an acquisition. The understanding that flow becomes healthier once force is removed from it. Basic translation is a cyclical lifestyle or business model that once established organically continues yielding positive results.

The third was the furthest horizon.

Not withdrawal from the world, but transmutation of labor into transmission. The gradual movement from constructing external foundations toward preserving inner ones. In practical terms this meant recreating a new lifestyle designed to now pursue a new set of goals. Using the word “transmutation” usually means very deep and irreversible inner growth for the individual. In Andean Shamanism, we believe that one can live many lives within one human life span. This is done through completely restructuring one’s self inwardly.

Many spiritual traditions attempt to escape the material world. Yet the old traditions often demand the opposite. They ask whether consciousness can remain centered while engaging material responsibility, finance, logistics, uncertainty, and time itself.

This is where most get stuck in their awakening process. We realize there is more to life than what everyone else is blindly chasing, but in embracing that reality we also tend to neglect our material obligations.

The mesa altar, however, teaches through communication and inner negotiation. You can have, be and experience anything you want in your life, but there must be a sense of reciprocity with your inner self.

The earth is not separate from spirit.
The visible is not separate from the invisible.
The material structure itself is energetic.

Perhaps this is why the ancient traditions placed so much importance on relationship with life rather than belief about life. The celestial bodies were never merely objects in the sky. They were mirrors through which human beings could study cycles within themselves.

Saturn, especially, appears less interested in inspiration than in durability.

It asks:
What remains after enthusiasm disappears?
What continues after accomplishment fades?
What survives time?

These are not mystical questions.
They are guiding posts for your desired future foundations.

There are moments in life when the visible world no longer feels complete on its own. Many people today are successful externally yet inwardly searching for reconnection, understanding, grounding, and a deeper relationship with existence itself. Through decades of initiatory training within the Andean shamanic traditions, ceremonial work, and direct experience with sacred mesas, I have come to understand that healing is not simply about removing pain. It is about restoring meaningful relationship between the individual, the earth, the unseen dimensions of consciousness, and the greater rhythms that guide human life. Whether you are navigating spiritual awakening, emotional exhaustion, energetic imbalance, life transition, or a desire to reconnect with your deeper purpose, these teachings may help you rediscover a more centered and aligned way of living.

If this article resonates with your intuition, I invite you to explore the work further through private shamanic sessions, mentorship, ceremonial guidance, or upcoming teachings through HealerShaman.com.

My work integrates Andean shamanism, energy healing, spiritual counseling, meditation, ancestral wisdom, and consciousness-based practices designed to support personal transformation and inner clarity. From Miami to international retreats and online sessions worldwide, the intention remains the same: helping individuals reconnect with their authentic energy, strengthen their inner foundation, and cultivate a more conscious relationship with life itself. The path begins with awareness, but it deepens through lived experience and sustained connection.
