Mother Nature, Pachamama, is always in loving harmony.
The seasons unfold in their proper time. The planets move in predictable cycles. Every living organism participates in an extraordinary order that existed long before humanity appeared. Harmony is not something nature seeks—it is nature itself, it is health, joy, love, prosperity, etc.
Human beings are part of that same natural order. Yet unlike the rest of nature, because of free will our awareness can become divided, thus disoriented. We replay the past, anticipate the future, react emotionally, and gradually lose our alignment. From that state, our perception becomes clouded, our decisions become less conscious, and life often feels more difficult than it truly is.
For thousands of years, shamanic traditions have understood that before attempting to transform our external reality, we must first restore harmony within ourselves. A centered person naturally sees more clearly, responds more wisely, and creates with greater intention.
The Seven Movements of Creation are based on the ancient symbolism of the Seven-Pointed Star, also known as the Angelic Star or Magical Star. Throughout history, the number seven has appeared repeatedly as a symbol of order and completeness. We recognize it in the seven visible colors of light, the seven days of the week, the seven classical heavenly bodies known to the ancient world, and many other patterns found throughout nature. It reminds us that creation is always the result of harmony. What may seem chaotic is actually the natural environment shifting to the fastest path back to harmony.
This simple practice reminds us that life is always unfolding in perfect harmony.
It begins by returning our awareness to the heart, the place from which conscious action naturally arises. From there, our attention expands toward possibility, then returns to the physical world, reminding us that every vision must eventually be expressed through conscious action.
The sequence then brings together the different parts of ourselves that often seem to pull in scattered directions. Thought and feeling, planning and intuition, strength and compassion all have their place. When they stop competing and begin cooperating, our perception becomes clearer.
From there, our awareness naturally expands into a more open state. Instead of reacting automatically, we begin observing. We become more aware of the direction of energy, listening carefully enough to intuit its destination so we can respond with wisdom. Finally, the practice returns us once again to the heart, completing the cycle where it began.
Modern psychology continues to demonstrate the close relationship between posture, breathing, attention and emotional regulation. Shamanic traditions have worked with these relationships for thousands of years, knowing that changing our internal state changes the way we experience the external world.
A centered person naturally sees more clearly, responds more wisely, and creates with greater intention.
